Program Terms
Last updated September 30, 2026
These Program Terms (this "Agreement") are a legally binding agreement between you, the purchaser ("Client," "you," or "your"), and JINY LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("JINY," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to the 6-Week Articulation Bootcamp by Baby Steps to the Mic (the "Program") and take effect on the date of your purchase.
By purchasing or accessing the Program, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. The Program
The Program may include daily drills and lesson videos, audio, PDFs and other downloadable materials, live Zoom sessions and their recordings, feedback from us and from other members of your cohort, and access to a private community on Circle.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Program for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to this Agreement. We may change the format, schedule, or content of the Program at our discretion, as long as the overall value of what you purchased is not materially reduced.
If we determine, in our reasonable discretion, that you have violated this Agreement, we may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Program without a refund.
2. Your Account
To access parts of the Program, you may need to create an account (for example, on Circle). You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date. Your access is for you alone: you may not share your login details, Zoom links, passwords, or other protected access with anyone else. Doing so is a material breach of this Agreement.
By providing your contact information, you agree that we may contact you about the Program, including schedule updates, announcements, and related offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
3. Payment
The Program is sold for either a single, one-time payment or a split plan, as shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes and fees. On the split plan, you pay once a month for 2 months: the first payment at checkout and the second one month later. By purchasing, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your selected payment method for the plan you choose, including the second payment on the split plan.
You agree to provide complete and accurate payment information. We may cancel your order and withhold access to the Program if payment is not successfully completed. We are not responsible for overdraft, over-limit, or other fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
You agree to contact us at team@babystepstothemic.com to resolve any billing concern before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. If a charge is reversed, we may suspend your access until the matter is resolved.
4. Refund Policy
Because the Program is delivered digitally, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or money-back guarantees, including if you do not attend live sessions, complete the drills, or otherwise use the Program after purchase.
5. Results Disclaimer
We do not promise or guarantee any particular result from the Program, whether in your speaking ability, confidence, career, or otherwise. Your results depend on many factors, including your own effort, consistency, starting point, and the time you put into the drills. Testimonials and examples (including our own) are not typical or guaranteed outcomes.
6. Community & User Content
The Program may let you share content, such as recordings of yourself speaking, comments, posts, and messages in Circle, on live calls, or directly with us ("User Content"). You understand that User Content you share in the community is visible to other members, and that it is not confidential.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to share User Content that:
- is harassing, hateful, threatening, or abusive toward anyone;
- could cause harm, injury, or loss to you, another person, or property;
- exploits or endangers minors in any way;
- is illegal, or encourages or contributes to a crime;
- infringes anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; or
- you don't have the right to share.
This is a zero-judgment space. You agree to treat other members respectfully. Advertising or promoting your own or anyone else's products, services, or coaching in the Circle community or other Program spaces is not allowed. We may remove any User Content, and suspend or remove any member, at our discretion.
You may encounter User Content from other members that you find inaccurate or objectionable. We are not responsible for other members' User Content.
By sharing User Content in the Program, you grant JINY a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that User Content within the Program, and to use it (including excerpts, and your first name or username) to promote the Program and our services. We will not use recordings of you speaking, or your full name, face, or voice, in public marketing without asking your permission first. You also grant other Program members permission to view your User Content within the Program.
7. Live Calls & Recordings
Live Zoom sessions may be recorded and shared with members of the Program as replays. If you attend a live session, your name, voice, image, and likeness may appear in those recordings. You can choose not to appear by keeping your camera and microphone off, or by not attending live sessions.
You agree that we own the recordings of Program sessions and may share them with Program members as part of the normal operation of the Program. Recordings are for members only. You may not record, screenshot, or share live sessions or other members' content outside the Program.
8. Intellectual Property
All Program materials, including videos, drills, audio, worksheets, frameworks, graphics, and recordings (the "Content"), are owned by JINY or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from the Content, or use it for any public or commercial purpose, without our prior written permission.
Names, logos, and marks associated with the Program, including "Baby Steps to the Mic," are trademarks of JINY. Nothing in this Agreement grants you any right to use them.
9. Copyright Complaints
If you believe anything in the Program infringes your copyright, email team@babystepstothemic.com with:
- your name, address, phone number, and email;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed;
- where the allegedly infringing material appears;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- your physical or electronic signature; and
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Program is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not medical, speech-language pathology, therapy, mental health, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for working with a licensed professional. If you have a speech, voice, or anxiety condition, please consult a qualified professional. Any decisions or actions you take based on the Program are at your own discretion and risk.
THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JINY AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PROGRAM, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE PROGRAM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT.
You assume full responsibility for your participation in the Program and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, release JINY and its members, managers, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Program.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JINY and its members, managers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your use of the Program, or your User Content.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, illness, internet or platform outages (including Zoom or Circle), or government action. In that case, the affected obligations are extended for the length of the delay; this does not excuse any payment you owe. If we cannot resume delivery of the Program within thirty (30) days, we may reschedule sessions or provide recorded alternatives.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising from this Agreement or the Program will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
UNLESS PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THIS AGREEMENT OR THE PROGRAM MUST BE BROUGHT WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER IT ARISES, OR IT IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will notify current members of material changes by email. If you continue to use the Program after changes take effect, you accept the updated Agreement.
15. General
- Entire agreement. This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and JINY about the Program and replaces any prior communications on the subject.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision right away, we have not waived our right to enforce it later.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the rest of this Agreement will remain in effect.
- Non-use. Not using the Program after purchase does not void or change any part of this Agreement.
- Assignment. You may not transfer this Agreement or your access to anyone else without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under this Agreement.
- Relationship. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and JINY.
- Enforcement costs. If we need to take action to enforce this Agreement, we are entitled to recover our reasonable costs, including attorneys' fees.
- Interpretation. This Agreement will be interpreted according to the plain meaning of its terms, and not for or against either party because of who drafted it.
